Who We Are
In 2020, after the heartbreaking loss of her mother and while battling depression, Amanda Krug’s life took an unexpected turn. A tiny French Bulldog puppy with a cleft palate came into her life—fragile, in need, and fighting her own battle. Amanda named her Anna, and what started as a rescue mission quickly turned into a story of mutual healing.
Anna overcame every obstacle that stood in her way, defying the odds with courage and heart. Inspired by Anna’s resilience and in memory of her mother, Amanda founded Anna’s Angels Rescue.
Our mission is to give puppies born with birth defects—often deemed “unwanted” or “unsellable”—a second chance at life. Without rescue, many of these precious souls would be euthanized. At Anna’s Angels, we believe every life matters, and we’re here to make sure these special pups get the love, care, and future they deserve.
